Marketplace and publishing
What is it?
A catalog of packages (plugins, themes, templates, country and industry packs) you can install, and a way to publish your own.

What exists today
- Package manifest: name, version, type, dependencies, license text.
- Register a draft, publish (blocked until every dependency is published), withdraw a draft, browse the catalog, see your own listings at any status, reviews.
- Install and upgrade from the catalog or a file.
- Private, tenant-specific plugins by installing without listing.
- Themes travel as
.themepackages.
Step by step: publish
- Build and test the plugin (Publish); consider
"shipSource": falseto protect source. - Marketplace, register the package with its manifest.
- Publish once its dependencies are published.
- Others install it; later versions upgrade under the upgrade guard.
Planned (placeholders)
