5.1 Reports

Leave summary, employee leave, department, monthly trend, exceptions. Each has a data source, columns, filters and parameters (date range, department), grouping and totals, sorting, and exports (PDF, Excel), which a job can send on a schedule. See Reports and print.

KPI cards bound to data services (lm-requests-pending-count, lm-requests-approved-count), charts bound to composite services, filters as page variables, drill-down by navigating to the filtered list. See Dashboards.

5.3 AI features (optional)

User -> AI assistant -> tool (ERP API) -> business logic -> database

An assistant that answers "how many days do I have left?" calls a read-only tool over the balance, under the user's own permissions, with an audit entry. Give it read tools first; require human approval before it changes anything. Model choice and cost controls are set in AI provider settings. See AI Designer.
