This page documents the shipped Job Classifications screen (hcm-organization) and three more screens that are all the same underlying job-classification data, pre-filtered by type — same pattern as Org Units. Not for plugin developers.
Job Classifications (the general screen)
What you see
- KPI cards: Total Classifications, Active Classifications, Unique Job Families, Mapped Positions.
- Search, plus filters for Job Family, Employment Type (Full Time / Part Time / Contract / Intern), and Status (All / Active / Inactive / Draft / Pending Approval / Rejected).
- A grid: Job Title, Job Code, Job Family, Job Function, Job Level, Job Grade, Job Category, Management Level, Employment Type, Salary Range, Mapped Positions, Status, Effective From, Actions.
Creating or editing a classification
The form covers: Job Title, Job Code, Job Family, Job Function, Job Level, Job Grade, Job Category, Management Level, Employment Type, Minimum Salary, Maximum Salary, Currency, Required Competencies (comma-separated), Key Responsibilities (comma-separated), Description, Status, Effective From/To, and an optional Apply Change On date if you want the change scheduled instead of immediate.
The typed views
- Job Families — just the Family classifications.
- Job Levels — just the Level classifications.
- Job Grades — just the Grade classifications.
Each is a locked, filtered view of the same underlying table and form — set these up first (they're referenced by Job Classifications itself and by Designations).
